Debtors Clerk / Assistant – PE
BVSA PE is a well-established accounting and tax practice, forming part of the national BVSA group.
We are currently looking for a Debtors Clerk / Assistant to join our Port Elizabeth office.
The successful candidate should preferably be available to start on 1 May 2025.
Key Responsibilities:
🔵 Issue and send invoices and statements
🔵 Follow up on debtor payments and communicate with clients regarding outstanding accounts
🔵 Attend / respond to client enquires about their account and invoices
🔵 Handle client receipts and recurring invoices
🔵 Answer and transfer phone calls
🔵 File and manage correspondence
🔵 Provide administrative support
Requirements:
🔵 Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
🔵 Fluency in both English and Afrikaans (written and spoken)
🔵 Experience in an accounting firm will be an advantage
🔵 Professional appearance and strong client service skills
🔵 Must be able to work from our Port Elizabeth office
