Accountant – Swellendam

BVSA Konsult Pty. Ltd., a respected accounting and financial services firm in the Western Cape, is seeking an accountant with relevant experience to join our Swellendam office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Compiling financial statements from client data in accordance with IFRS for SME
• Performing independent review engagements
• Preparing working papers to support annual financial statements
• Conducting essential accounting procedures in alignment with BVSA’s standards
• Submitting tax returns to SARS on behalf of clients
• Compiling monthly management accounts for clients

Qualification and Experience Requirements:

• BCom degree or B.Tech qualification in accounting
• At least two years of relevant SAIPA clerkship experience
• Proficiency in Afrikaans and English
• Strong computer literacy
