HR & Marketing Assistant – Oudtshoorn

BVSA is a well-established accounting and financial services firm with 18 offices across the Western and Eastern Cape. We are looking for a strong administrator with a creative side to support our HR and Marketing Manager.

The role combines administrative support with marketing and design tasks. You will handle a range of compliance and admin submissions, keep our website and social media fresh, and produce visual content such as newsletters and posts. Training will be provided on firm-specific processes.

 

Responsibilities

• General HR and marketing administration, including collecting and preparing information from branches.

• Assisting with statutory and industry submissions (e.g. FASSET, COIDA, SAIPA/SAICA) — full training provided.

• Helping to draft and manage employment contracts and related documentation from templates.

• Helping to arrange annual directors’ meetings and other firm events.

• Designing and producing monthly newsletters and marketing content.

• Updating and maintaining the BVSA website (WordPress).

• Creating and scheduling social media posts.

• Producing branded graphics and visual assets for internal and external use.

 

Requirements

• Strong administrative and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.

• Graphic design experience (Canva, Adobe, or similar).

• Experience producing newsletters or email marketing content.

• Basic WordPress skills for website updates.

• Comfortable creating content for social media platforms.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

• Good written and verbal communication in Afrikaans and English.

• Willing to learn HR and compliance processes.

 

Advantageous

• Experience in an accounting or professional services firm.

• Exposure to email marketing platforms such as Everlytic or Mailchimp.

• Previous HR admin experience.
