Audit Manager – Grabouw

BVSA Grabouw is looking for an Audit Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will lead audit assignments, support SAICA trainees and maintain high standards of audit quality and client service.

Key responsibilities

• Manage multiple audit assignments and supervise audit teams.
• Prepare financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
• Perform audits, review audit files and ensure compliance with BVSA quality standards.
• Manage, train and coach SAICA trainees.
• Liaise with clients on audit matters and prepare reports.
• Assist with evaluations.
• Manage billing, fees and working capital.

Requirements

• Strong preference will be given to candidates with the CA(SA) designation.
• Minimum qualification: BCom in Accounting from a SAICA-accredited university.
• Completed SAICA articles.
• Strong technical knowledge of IFRS, ISA and tax.
• Strong leadership skills and a proactive, detail-oriented approach.
• Caseware experience would be advantageous.
• Own transport and a valid driver’s licence are preferred.
• Willingness to travel locally and nationally, and to work overtime when required.
