Payroll clerk – Malmesbury
BVSA is a dynamic and well-established accounting and financial services group with several offices in the Western Cape. Our Malmesbury office is expanding and we are looking for a competent and motivated Payroll Administrator to strengthen our team.
About the Position
As Payroll Administrator at BVSA Malmesbury, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of payrolls for a variety of clients. You will play a central role in ensuring compliance with all statutory obligations and will work closely with our financial and accounting teams to deliver an excellent service to our clients.
Requirements
- Practical experience with PaySpace is essential — you must be comfortable with full payroll processing on this platform
- Basic knowledge of SimplePay will be to your advantage
- Familiar with the preparation and submission of Compensation Commissioner returns
- Experience with EMP201 monthly returns and EMP501 reconciliations
- Knowledge of UIF and PAYE registrations
- Meticulous and detail-orientated with a strong ability to manage deadlines
- Well organised and able to handle multiple clients and tasks simultaneously
- Strong communication skills in both Afrikaans and English
- A relevant qualification in Accounting, Finance or Human Resource Management will be advantageous
